Hey guys.
I assumed all my awesome Malay peeps enjoyed their Hari Raya celebration on Monday. For me? I didn't stay home like other normal public holiday, i was out the whole day filming. Yes you heard me, filming. Just out of the blue i was selected to be part of Noah Yap's next video just by sending 1 email for the fun of it, it was really unexpected though. If you guys don't know who Noah Yap is, you should probably search him around your search engine and subscribe to his YouTube channel for a funny laugh throughout. This whole filming thing wasn't planned, i mean i know that there will be many applicants signing up for this. So i just went with the flow and try my luck even though i know it is a ridiculous choice, no regrets at all.
The most shocking thing wasn't me being selected for the video, i was linked up to meet up with the Ah Boys To Men casts cos they are also going to be part of the video. This ain't normal, my heart almost died when i receive the news. Its like a once in a blue moon opportunity to be in a video with all the cast, best moment of my life. Basically Ah Boys To Men is a local movie directed by Jack Neo, its coming out in cinema on the 8th of November 2012! So don't ever forget to catch it, you wouldn't wanna miss those local movies since its so hard to come by.
Imagine how nervous i was the previous night, couldn't even sleep a wink cos i was thinking way too much on the negative side. But things turned out pretty different from what i expected, it was probably one of the best day of my life. As y'all know, meeting someone for the first time can get you really awkward, that was where i was for the pass 30 minutes with them. I couldn't even be myself cos i was so scared that i'll be ruining my lady-man image, LMFAO! But you know, being awkward ain't a good start so i decided to get the ball rolling and request for some self-introduction. Soon, it feels like everyone became comfortable and finally i can be myself after awhile.
Some of you guys might think that filming is a really easy thing, trust me, it isn't at all. I thought it was pretty easy until i experience the behind the scene moments with them, it is indeed a tough job for Noah(director) and the team. Imagine filming on and on after all the NGs and having to run here and there just for a perfect video, its truly a hard work for everyone and i salute them so damn much. My part was just a small role and it ain't tiring at all despite acting for a few times, the most tiring award goes to all the main characters, cameraman and the director itself. Jaw-dropping moments i can never picture, its like a simple wow and mind blowing moments. If i were in their shoes, i'll probably be giving up by now. This video is just a small production, imagine them acting a role in a real movie.
Of cos behind those scenes, there are also the fun moments. I can honestly say that i really love those hours all of us spent together. Laughing at things that doesn't make sense, lip-syncing Champagne Showers infront of the cam, doing hilarious Vlog together and capturing all those funny and hilarious moments in a camcorder. In just a few hours, it all beings to make sense to me. I was indeed myself and going crazy together with them, it feels like i've known them for a long time. I can never ask for more, and i owe God the most thanks ever for those amazing encounters with the casts. I laughed too much, screamed too much and battle it out with the guys too much by fighting with them like a man, unforgettable bro unforgettable.
Janson, the one whom i knew before<3
Janson & Maxi, closest among the rest.
Didn't manage to snap a picture with everyone cos of time consuming, but i'm really happy to be part of this small production to experience the filming behind the scenes. Really happy that i've met so many awesome and hilarious people to make me smile throughout my darkest moments. I know this is once in a lifetime, but it'll be the best memories i've ever had. New people, new topics of stories to tell. All of them worked so hard for this video and imagine having to film for 7 hours just for a 5 minutes video clip, salute to all those awesome people. Hopefully we'll be able to meet up for prata again one day and a car ride home together again, thanks for the memories guys<3
