Bintan getaway.

Hey guys.

Just got back from Bintan, Indonesia few days ago. Felt really good to have visited another country on a good start of 2013 despite going through hell last week. Really thank God that i was able to go for this trip, wasn't supposed to cos i was so sick till i almost died. Thank goodness i was healed in a nick of time before this trip took place, or not my money and excitement would have gone down the drain. Was really happy and feeling so good while packing my stuff for this trip, didn't bring much stuff since its just a 2D1N stay. First time bringing just a backpack overseas, i thought being a girl i would have brought along the whole damn luggage. As y'all know, girls will definitely bring along their whole wardrobe if they need to cos we are girls after all. Our mindset is that we will have to change like almost every minute, maybe not that exaggerating but it speaks the truth for the most of us.

I can say that the traveling time was alright, not by flight but by ferry. Even thought is just an hour to our destination but i can say that i almost died on my way there cos sitting the ferry was a problem for me, sea-sick striked in 5 seconds after it started moving. I thought for a moment that i wouldn't be able to survive this whole ferry thing, but i soon fell asleep after that. Feeling so awesome when we reached the place, like finally i'm not a local there and could enjoy the other culture freely. Our resort was an hour from the ferry terminal, so of cos people fetched us over in a car. Really appreciate them for being so kind and patient towards us, great hospitality. Enjoyed the whole car trip cos my friends and i were sharing so much of stories and laughing like a mad cow throughout. Pretty sure they finally know what kind of retarded girl i was, i burst their bubbles of me being a timid girl. An hour trip feels like a few minutes cos we were talking way too much in the car and people infront of us were so quiet, unsure if we actually annoyed them somehow but we were having great fun though.

The resort we were staying in wasn't so bad, but the way we see it from the pictures in their brochure were so different. I guess their photoshopping skills were too good to be true till we laughed so loudly and started being so sarcastic about everything. Bad thing is we gotta always visit the reception area or the restaurant area for the Wi-Fi connection and be attack by a bunch of mosquitoes there. Not sure if its a good thing, but we didn't complain much anyways. Really love the view so much from where we were sitting, beautiful sea right infront of us but the tide back then was pretty bad so we couldn't see much of the water though. Seeing the pictures from the brochures would make everyone think that the facilities there were that awesome but in real life, we feel like we were in scam city. Everything was just hilarious, don't know how to put it actually. Guess you gotta be there to encounter it, you'll be laughing your ass off. We had snorkeling for an activity but couldn't do it cos the tide was so bad, we will just be seeing sands and seaweeds. That's why we said, we were in scam city for all we know.

P.S : I was burned by the Sun cos i fell asleep on the chair after swimming -.-

Shall post some pictures rather than typing so much, so enjoy!

There are still many pictures available on my Facebook, so for those who have yet to see please feel free to browse through it if you're interested.

Can say that this 2D1N trip feels like a week, somehow we felt that hours passed by fast but the day feels so long. Maybe because we played too much of activities and laughed too much, can't believe how time passed by so slowly when we're enjoying life. Best part of this whole trip was the gathering and telling of great legendary stories that we'll never ever forget, not to forget my superbly awesome sarcasm that made everyone went crazy. Hopefully there will be a next trip similar to this, i'll be so on for it! Enjoyed myself so much and i'm happy to have been with the people that made me so happy. Bintan was a scam city for us, but we're lovin' it so much.

THANKS PEOPLE FOR MAKING THIS TRIP POSSIBLE!
